Saunders Ranked #1 for MIS by College Factual, 2024

Once again, Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology has been recognized for several of its programs by College Factual in its annual rankings:

• #1 in New York State in Best Schools for Management Information Systems, for the second straight year.
• #2 in New York State in Best General Hospitality Administration/Management Bachelor's Degree Schools.
• #7 in New York State in Best Accounting Bachelor's Degree Schools. 

College Factual uses a number of criteria to rank programs. These include early-career earnings of graduates, how much a school focuses on a program vs. other majors, the demand for the major, educational resources, student debt, and accreditation. 

Saunders’ management information systems program teaches students crucial business data and analytical skills. Additionally, students also learn how to lead diverse teams, communicate effectively, and make high quality managerial decisions. 

The hospitality and tourism management (HTM) degree offers students the opportunity to become innovative professionals capable of delivering world-class experiences. They have access to state-of-the-art facilities such as the International Hospitality and Service Industry Food Production Lab, and RIT Inn & Conference Center for experiential learning opportunities. Also, Saunders offers a flexible master’s in hospitality business management program.

Saunders’ accounting degree program provides students the tools to guide financial business decisions by determining an organization’s wealth, profitability, and liquidity. As in all Saunders degree programs, students gain a wealth of real-world experience through RIT’s Cooperative Education and Internships program.
