School for American Crafts hosts Holiday Sale
One-of-a-kind wares made by students majoring in ceramics, wood, glass and metals
If mall shopping for the holidays has left you weary, Rochester Institute of Technology is another place to shop!
Students from the School for American Crafts are selling their wares from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, Dec. 12, and Dec. 13 in the Student Alumni Union on the RIT campus. The sale is open to the public.
Student work includes ceramic wares, blown-glass ornaments, jewelry and wood creations. All of the items are handmade and the original work of student artists. School for American Crafts students, from first-year to graduate level, rely on the sale to defray costs of various projects throughout the school year. Cash or check is accepted.
