Student Affairs Division Honors Faculty and Staff Members
Annual recognition brunch and length of service awards
Four RIT faculty/staff members were honored with awards based on professional excellence at the Student Affairs Division annual Faculty/Staff Recognition Brunch and Length of Service Awards.
- Dr. James Myers, director of The Center for Multidisciplinary Studies, received a “Promoting Learning Outside the Classroom” award
- Phyllis Walker, assistant director of the RIT Leadership Institute and Community Service Center, received an “Excellence in Service” award
- David Stevens, Recreation Services manager, assistant track coach and women’s cross-country coach, received a “New Staff Outstanding Services” award
- Kathy Hall, Student Government office manager, received an “Outstanding Support Service” award
The award winners were nominated by their supervisors or colleagues and chosen by the Division of Student Affairs committee. Supportive letters from the students came with many of the nominations.
