Tosyali publishes AI-driven mental disorder screening research

Ali Tosyali, assistant professor in the Department of MIS, Marketing, and Analytics, co-authored “Explainable Artificial Intelligence for Mental Disorder Screening: A Computational Design Science Approach,” published in the Journal of Management Information Systems. The study introduces MDscan, an AI-driven tool for screening 10 mental disorders using data from the SCL-90-R screening instrument. The research incorporates the ShapRadiation algorithm to enhance interpretability in mental health assessments.
