University Publications wins national Educational Marketing Awards
Silver Award for ‘Undergraduate Bulletin’ and two Merit Awards earned
University Publications is the recipient of three awards honoring excellence in publications from the Higher Education Marketing Report.
The 2009-2010 Undergraduate Bulletin earned a Silver Award in the catalog category, while the BioX edition of the Research at RIT magazine (external publication category) and the “Innovate. Influence. Inspire. Women at RIT” (brochure category) each earned Merit Awards. The awards were announced on Feb. 25.
“We are delighted and honored to have our work recognized on a national level by an organization that is a well-respected resource in higher education marketing,” says Colleen McGuinness-Clarke, director of University Publications.
The Educational Marketing Awards, sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report (formerly Admissions Marketing Report), is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, more than 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report.
