Worden co-editor of ‘New Directions in Print Culture Studies’

Daniel Worden, associate professor in the School of Art, and Jesse W. Schwartz of LaGuardia Community College co-edited the book New Directions in Print Culture Studies: Archives, Materiality, and Modern American Culture, published by Bloomsbury Academic. The book’s cover features an image of Gudrun Zapf von Hesse’s Alphabet (1995) from RIT’s Cary Graphic Arts Collection. The book also includes a chapter on the Stephen Neil Cooper Synchronic Comic Book Collection, a comics archive in RIT’s Cary Graphic Arts Collection, and is co-written by Worden and Rebekah Walker, digital humanities and social sciences librarian, Wallace Library.
