Zwickl and Howland receive NSF grants for work in quantum information science and technology

RIT faculty in the School of Physics and Astronomy received two National Science Foundation awards to support education and workforce development in quantum information science and technology. Associate Professor Ben Zwickl and Assistant Professor Gregory Howland received an award for developing resources to support instruction on quantum sensing. Zwickl, in collaboration with researchers at the University of Colorado Boulder, also received a grant to investigate the landscape of QIST careers and educational opportunities across the United States.
