Head publishes book on inclusive theater production

Andy Head, assistant professor in the School of Performing Arts and NTID Department of Performing Arts, published a co-authored book, Staging Deaf and Hearing Theatre Productions: A Practical Guide. A first of its kind, the book includes both d/Deaf and hearing perspectives and details best practices for ensuring accessibility and inclusion during the theatrical production process from ideation through closing night. The guide is written for a range of practical applications in both academic and professional settings and features insight for directors, designers, performers, and producers.
