RIT alumna named deputy commanding general for U.S. Army Human Resources Command

Brig. Gen. Stacy Babcock will help execute human resource programs for U.S. Army

RIT alumna Brig. Gen. Stacy Babcock ’91 (criminal justice), ’96 (educational interpreting), ’98 MS (instructional technology) has been named deputy commanding general and Reserve Personnel Management Directorate director for U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) in Fort Knox, Ky.

In her new role, Babcock will help execute human resources programs that develop leaders, build Army readiness, and promote and sustain the well-being of soldiers, civilians, veterans, and their families. Babcock is also director of Human Resources Command’s Reserve Personnel Management Directorate, which is charged with increasing efficiency, transparency, and accessibility when processing Army Reserve personnel actions.

“There is no greater honor than one that places you in position to have a positive impact on soldiers across the Total Force,” Babcock said. “I’m thrilled to have this opportunity and look forward to being part of the team of professional soldiers and civilians at HRC.”
