The online Executive MBA program in RIT's Saunders College of Business was named 10th in the list of online MBA programs in the nation by Poets&Quants, a leading resource for coverage of graduate business education.

RIT is partnering with 2U, a global leader in education technology, to deliver an online Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree. The program, which is 2U’s first architecture offering, takes RIT’s highly regarded campus-based degree online.

Alexandria Shumway was selected to do research abroad over the summer through the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) RISE program, or German Academic Exchange Service. Through this program, the fifth-year bioinformatics and computational biology (BS) and bioinformatics (MS) student traveled to Kiel, Germany, to complete her research at the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel.

Networking is the key that opens many doors to permanent or co-op employment, and it was on display in many ways at RIT’s Fall Career Fair.

More than 260 employing organizations with more than 900 recruiter representatives seeking RIT students and graduates are attending the 2019 Fall University-Wide Career Fair, held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Gordon Field House.

Doug Melton, program director of the Entrepreneurial Engineering Program at The Kern Family Foundation, will be the keynote speaker at Rochester Institute of Technology, presenting “Powerful Stuff: An Entrepreneurial Mindset Built on Critical Thinking” as part of the 2019 Eugene H. Fram Signature Lecture in Critical Thinking. The event takes place 3:30-4:45 p.m. Sept. 17 in Ingle Auditorium, located in RIT’s Student Alumni Union.

Vanesa Chiodo, a second-year museum studies student, worked as a public programs intern over the summer at The Strong National Museum of Play. Although she was only going into her second year of classes, Chiodo was eager to get some real work experience under her belt.
