Editor’s Note: The men’s lacrosse team capped off an undefeated season earning the program’s first NCAA title. These 2021 Tigers join an exclusive group of RIT national championship teams. The men’s hockey team won a Division II national championship in 1983 and a Division III crown in 1985. The women’s hockey team won a Division III national championship in 2012. RIT senior midfielder Ryan Barnable scored the game-winning goal to lead the Tigers to a 15-14 double-overtime victory over Salisbury in the 2021 NCAA Division III National Championship game earlier today at Rentchler Field in East Hartford, Conn. Senior attackman Quinn Commandant was named the Most Outstanding Player after totaling five goals and two assists in the victory. Read more >
