I am a broadly trained mathematical biologist who combines techniques of mathematical modeling and analysis to understand and propose solutions for the control of diseases that represent current threats to humans and animals in general.

RIT’s Siewe receives award for mathematical modeling research linking obesity and diabetes
RIT Assistant Professor Nourridine Siewe has received a $500,000 National Institute of General Medical Sciences Support for Research Excellence – First Award for his work in mathematical models of obesity-induced Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and chronic wound healing.
