Kirmani organizes symposium on next-gen semiconductors

Ahmad R. Kirmani, assistant professor in the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, organized a symposium in the recently concluded spring meeting of the Materials Research Society (MRS) April 10-14 in San Francisco. The symposium, “Radiation-Hard and Lightweight Next-Generation Semiconductor Electronics,” brought together experts from academia, national laboratories, and the industry, working on developing next-generation concepts for space electronics and photovoltaics. Kirmani's research focuses on developing printed electronics for terrestrial and space applications.
