Wong receives grant for work on modeling coastal risk

Tony Wong, assistant professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences, received a Launching Early-Career Academic Pathways in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences (LEAPS-MPS) grant from the National Science Foundation. LEAPS-MPS supports pre-tenure faculty in Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) fields at institutions that do not traditionally receive significant amounts of NSF-MPS funding, such as Carnegie Research 2 (R2) universities. Wong’s project is titled “Computational Modeling to Characterize and Attribute Uncertainty in Future Coastal Risk.”
