2012 Frederic W. Goudy Commission

I was commissioned by the Cary Graphic Arts Collection at RIT to create a piece honoring Kris Holmes as the 2012 recipient of the Frederic W.
Goudy Award for Typographic Excellence. Of Mere Being, by Wallace Stevens is one
of Ms. Holmes' favorite poems.
The meandering pencil lettering reflects the tone of the poem.
