Aging in Place
The Center for Disease Control defines aging in place as "the ability to live in one's own home and community safely, independently, and comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level."
Juniors in RIT's Industrial Design Program collaborated with the residents of Rivers Run in Rochester, NY to develop products that would more effectively meet the needs of an aging or less abled population.
