California Polytechnic State University/San Luis Obispo student work

During Winter Quarter 2013, I was fortunate to serve as Designer in Residence at our sister Graphic Design Program at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.

In this position, I worked with Associate Professor Katie McCormick of Cal Poly and her great sophomore Typography I students on several projects.

The projects shown here represent the range of media and styles of lettering explored in a short expressive lettering project where students selected a favorite book and interpreted the title using their own lettering style.

I would like to thank Professor McCormick and the two sections of this class for an amazing experience that I will always remember with great fondness.
