This was a workshop for high school students who were enrolled in a summer intensive course in design at MICA
with instructor Ryan Clifford. The students learned majuscules for their initials in either Italic or Blackletter and then began to create monograms.
This workshop was designed for graduate students in design at Carnegie Mellon University, where I was invited by Alex Cheek. Students worked with markers to learn Roman Capitals in a three hour session.
