Distinctive Design

Robin Muto ’01 (Interior Design) is the owner and principal designer of Robin Muto Interiors, a full-service interior and lighting design firm.

She has executed many distinctive residential and commercial projects, using her expertise in areas such as architectural detailing, interior and lighting design, and custom kitchen and bathroom design. Muto has served on the board of directors for the Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester, RIT’s own Interior Design Advisory Board and with the American Association of University Women. 

In 2012, Muto founded Axom Gallery, a Rochester exhibition space for contemporary visual arts. The gallery showcases emerging and established artists — both local and national — working in various media. Today, Muto serves as co-curator, developing exhibitions that connect art and design.
