Experiential Design / GRDE 308 2023
Experiential design focuses on exploring ways to improve how people interact with the natural and built environment. Projects include exhibition, display, wayfinding, signage, and information design. The project for this class was to curate and create a permanent exhibition for the new Wallace Center at RIT scheduled to open in fall 2023. The exhibition, titled, STUDENT MADE / 50 Years of the RIT Purchase Prize Collection, is divided into five topics that are reflected in the pieces. These topics are Abstraction, Reflection, Functionality, Texture, and Emotion. This SketchUP video by Char Miller and Jessa Lyn Lizama shows the space from the visitor's perspective.
