Fine Art Photography Gallery Show
RIT’s 2020 Fine Art Photography senior exhibition, “Not Far From Here,” is the culminating work of 13 artists, who employ a wide variety of mediums, techniques and ideas.
The fine art photography gallery show includes photographic, filmic and installation-based work born out of the unique practices and visions each artist developed throughout their time at RIT. Some emergent themes throughout the students’ work are the photographic and emotional journey, questioning the normality of the everyday experience and the significance of locating oneself in the world.
The featured artists are Christopher Beitz, Parker Bryant-Carty, Savannah Cid, Svea Elisha, Ariana Hawk, Justine Higgins, James Emery Kane, Shayna Kiblin, Evan Patrick Maloney, Claudia Paulson, Sofia Tello, Tia Weiss and Noah Winslow.
