In what ways has Saunders/RIT prepared you for the job market?
The Hospitality and Tourism Management program exposed me to a multitude of opportunities, from studying abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia, to serving on the executive committee of the RITz Dinner event, conducting academic research, and obtaining real-world work experience before I graduated. The program enabled me to explore my interests and discover my passion within the industry, which happens to be the accounting and finance aspects. I dug further into what it meant to be a finance professional in the hospitality industry as a chartering member of RIT’s chapter of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, another exceptionally beneficial opportunity that arose during my time in the program.
