The Future of Filmmaking
RIT Motion Picture Science students drive engineering through their artistry, and expand their creativity through engineering. This unique program utilizes research, critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving principles to teach students to address complex motion imaging workflow issues within the constraints of time, space, budget and technology. The curriculum focuses on the art and science of film, television, animation and new immersive technology. Faculty in the Motion Picture Science program have decades of industry experience while extensive facilities give students valuable hands-on experience with industry-leading technology.
