RIT is one of the few universities that teaches students the skills required to create high-speed images such as ballistics as well as analyzing the resulting image data. Students learn how to problem-solve and design image capture and trigger mechanisms at up to 1,000 meters per second.
The main image of a bullet going through a kiwi is by Alexandra Shipman.
