Laural Hartman’s ’20 MFA (Fine Arts Studio) thesis is an exploration of a lack of environmental and situational accessibility and how it differs from her hearing counterparts through installation that uses visual elements and physical ephemera she has accumulated over the years. The interactive installation provides the viewer a look at how Hartman experienced incidental exposure and how beauty and intimacy manifested her work.
