Packaging Design / GRDE 431 Paperboard Packaging Alliance 2015 Student Design Challenge
This packaging course included senior graphic designers, junior and senior industrial designers, and sophomore and junior packaging science students working on teams.
Projects included folding carton packaging, set-up/rigid box design, and solutions for the
2015 Paperboard Packaging Alliance Student Design Challenge. This competition includes some of the best university packaging and design programs in the U.S.
This year's challenge was to create a package from paperboard to interact with a toy designed for 7-10 year old children... based on a movie that will be coming out in Fall 2015.
The results we're announced during the summer of 2015. RIT's Sugar Skull Package received third place honors! Congratulations!
