Recent alumna receives industry recognition

Priscilla Nascimento ’24 (3D digital design) was recognized in the 2024 Rookie Awards, a showcase organized by The Rookies that highlights exemplary work by young creatives as judged by industry professionals. It serves as a global platform for students and emerging artists to get noticed by the world’s top studios. 

Nascimento’s submission of four projects from her time at RIT garnered high marks from a jury of nearly 150 creative professionals, including an Excellence Award, “Rank A”, and “Draft Selection,” signaling her industry readiness. One of her entries was her capstone work — a real-time environment of a herbalist’s workshop in which a potion is actively being made (video above; stills below).
