Recumbent Bicycle
May 4, 2014
This recumbent bicycle for Joule Cycles was designed from the ground up (frame, seat, handle bars, and drive train). My concept for locating a mid-drive derailleur at the suspension pivot provided a 25-speed transmission and eliminated pedal induced shock actuation (pogoing).
Removing the front wheel and disconnecting the shock allows the bike to fold small enough to fit in a car trunk.
