Enrolled Student Pathway
An Opportunity to Excel
RIT’s Combined Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s Degrees are an opportunity for you to complete a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree on an accelerated timeline.
The double counting of credits or course waivers enable you to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in less time and at a lower cost. All Accelerated Scholars receive a guaranteed 40% scholarship off graduate level tuition.
Currently enrolled RIT undergraduate students in qualifying bachelor’s degree programs are invited to apply.
The Application Process
Current RIT students may apply to a Combined Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree during their undergraduate studies.
Contact your academic advisor or a graduate program contact for more information on enrollment eligibility, timing, and criteria for entry.
The application process is managed by each academic department. Time of entry and requirements vary from program to program and typically occur in the second or third year of study. This will include a review of your academic progress and achievements. No GRE or GMAT is needed, and no formal graduate school application is required.
How It Works
- If you are accepted to join a Combined Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, you will continue to work with your academic advisor on an adjusted study plan.
- The point at which you will transition to graduate status and receive your 40% graduate level scholarship depends on your specific pathway and study plan.
