Bio

Mr. Dennis A. Andrejko is Head of the Department of Architecture and teaches courses in architecture and the built environment, renewable energy and high performance buildings, and regional design and ecological design literacy. Mr. Andrejko’s professional and academic experience spans nearly thirty years in the profession. His work has been featured in numerous documentaries, local newspaper articles and television segments, and he has lectured widely throughout the United States, Europe, and Central America. He has received several awards for his teaching and research, including the AIA New York State Kideney Gold Medal for a lifetime of sustained leadership in the community and profession. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and a recipient of AIA’s Richard Upjohn Medal. His students describe him as hands-on, engaging and interactive.

Masters-level scholarship by the candidate under the direction of the instructor. Students may enroll multiple times for a maximum of 9 credits towards their degree requirement. The subject of each offering varies depending on the nature and stage of the faculty member’s work.

Students continue work on the thesis begun previously. They execute a methods and procedures plan, analyze the data, arrive at a conclusion and successfully defend it.
