This year, the annual 24-hour day of giving is being held from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, to 10 a.m. the following day. On this day, anyone who has been or is involved with RIT is encouraged to give to their favorite area of the university. -

Kate Penn ’07 (professional photographic illustration) won a 2017 Emmy Award in the category of video essay (single camera operator) for “A Father’s Love: Ayden’s Final Days,” about a father’s devotion to his young son waging a courageous fight against a rare and incurable pediatric cancer. -

Raj Murthy named McClure Research Professor
Saunders College of Business at RIT has named Raj Murthy the J. Warren McClure Research Professor of Marketing. He is only the second professor to hold the position, following Professor Emeritus Eugene Fram.
