On this Cyber Monday, new research co-authored by Ali Tosyali and Gijs Overgoor, assistant professors in the Department of MIS, Marketing, and Analytics at RIT’s Saunders College of Business, provides one method for searching out five-star fakes on Amazon.

As a teenager growing up, Edwin N. Torres remembers traveling and becoming “fascinated by the possibility of hoteliers transforming a place into an experience.” That curiosity later developed into a passion, which Torres brought to RIT in July when he became chair and associate professor for the Department of International Hospitality and Service Innovation at Saunders College of Business.

A $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of State will fund a two-year project led by RIT professors Clyde Hull and Eric Williams to help the Southeast Asian region establish entrepreneurships based on the circular economy.
