The Logistics Manager’s Index, developed by Assistant Professor Steven Carnovale and his colleagues, has become a data source for The Wall Street Journal and FreightWaves.

Assistant Professor Steven Carnovale and his colleagues' project, the LMI, was recognized by the Wall Street Journal. "A measure of logistics-sector activity, the Logistics Managers Index, slowed last month to the lowest level in the three years of the survey, although it still showed business activity increasing."

The Logistics Managers Index, developed by Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management Steven Carnovale and his colleagues, provides data for Freight Waves.

Projects developed from the partnership include a summer data analysis capstone project for RIT students that will wrap up in the next few weeks, an innovation competition for RIT students that will launch this fall, and a research experience for students that will examine app interfaces for memory-impaired individuals. 

The 28th annual Undergraduate Research Symposium, held on Aug. 1, is structured as a professional research conference. Research themes included everything from fundamental microbiology to the fine arts.
