Alumni Benefits and Resources

Do you need to do professional or academic research? Read the news? Review trade journals? By creating an alumni account, you'll enjoy access to select ProQuest databases.

In addition to these databases, you also have access to other resources from RIT Libraries which do not require authentication. To gain access to either benefit, you must create an alumni account if you don't already have one. 

You will need to use your RIT alumni username and password to connect to these valuable resources.

RIT offers free and reduced-cost education as part of our partnership with edX, the leading nonprofit online learning platform founded by Harvard and MIT in 2012. Fueled by industry demand and available around the globe, RITx programs and offerings provide critical, career-advancing skills.

RITx offerings are massive open online courses (MOOCs), containing high-quality curriculum developed by RIT faculty and instructors. Any given offering may have hundreds or even thousands of students in it at one time from around the globe. RIT has implemented pedagogical and technological innovations to allow learners to engage in rich dialogue with one another and with instructors among a global and diverse population. Many of the courses are self-paced, and while there is not one-to-one interaction between instructors and students, these innovations enable a quality learning experience with rigor and assessment.

US Diploma Replacement

All requests for replacement diplomas must go through the Parchment Services using the appropriate link below. Requests made by paper, email, phone, or other methods outside of Parchment Services will not be processed.

Ordering a Replacement Diploma:

• Do you have an active RIT account?  If so, click here to log in with your RIT account and select the appropriate document
• If your RIT account has expired or you never had one, click here to create a document ordering account. 
• Questions regarding creating an account should be directed to registrar@rit.edu.

Croatian Diploma Replacement or Copy

In  case your Croatian Diploma is lost or damaged you have to publish lost diploma in Narodne Novine gazette, and contact afterwards RIT Croatia Academic department so they can order a copy of your diploma. The cost for issuing copy of diploma is 25$ payable to RIT Croatia’s bank account. Payment instructions can be accessed HERE.

Alumni who have graduated before the introduction of the new degree system for Croatian degrees in 2005 (Bologna Process) can request the certificate of equalization of titles by filling out the following form:

• Request for issuing a certificate of equalization - four-year degree
• Request for issuing a certificate of equalization - two-year degree
• Request for issuing a certificate of equalization - stručni prvostupnik

Grade transcript in English from Rochester

The Office of the Registrar is pleased to announce that we have collaborated with Parchment.com to enhance our academic transcript services.   In recent years, RIT has had an increase in demand to provide electronic transcripts and now you will be able to send your official electronic transcript anywhere in the world with just a few clicks. Our partnership with Parchment, a leader in eTranscript exchange, allows you to send transcripts electronically, securely and confidentially.

When you want to request an official academic transcript from the Registrar’s Office in Rochester, you have to create a Parchment Account to request it. When  you create your account log-in, you will be asked for the last 4 digits of their Social Security number. For non-US students, you should enter 9999.

The processing/delivery time for electronic transcripts is approximately 30 minutes while the processing time for paper transcripts will be reduced to 2-4 business days.

With the addition of these services, official transcripts will now carry a small charge.  The cost for an electronic transcript will be $3.25 and paper transcripts will be $4.00.  FedEx shipping continues to be an option for an additional fee (varies for domestic vs. international shipping).  All fees are collected through Parchment and must be paid online.

Grade transcript in Croatian from RIT Croatia

Grade transcript in Croatian language with included ECTS points and total grade point average should be requested from the Academic office at ritcro@rit.edu. No fee is charged for this transcript.
