American company attends Dubrovnik CED to recruit our students

Another year, another very successful Career Education Day. In case you did not know, RIT Croatia (at that time ACMT) was the first to introduce such an event in this region in 2000, which is not surprising given that RIT is focused on career-oriented education. Career Education Day is an integral part of education at RIT Croatia, which prepares students for the business opportunities and challenges they face in the labor market during their studies, and most importantly, after graduation.

At RIT Croatia, the focus is on the development of skills and practical knowledge and a well-designed 800-1200 hours internship program that each student must complete before graduation.

Alonside many renowned companies from Croatia and the region, this event was attended by American company Admirals Cove Florida. Daniela Ayala, HR Manager of the company, said: "We have very positive experience with your students so we decided to come to Dubrovnik Career Day to open new positions for them. I'm impressed by the event itself and the interaction with the students. I have attended many panels at various universities, but this kind of proactivity among students is really rare."

This year's Career Day in Dubrovnik has gathered 300 participants in order to establish direct communication between students and employers. Given the labor market expectations, it is desirable to start business networking during the studies. Students of RIT Croatia decided to make the most of this opportunity to find appropriate co-op or employment; hence almost 100 interviews were held in only a few hours!
