Career Education Day 2025: Empowering students through industry connections

RIT Croatia’s highly anticipated Career Education Day (CED) is approaching, offering students exclusive opportunities to connect with industry leaders, explore diverse career paths, and advance their professional journeys. This year marks a special milestone as the event returns to its full in-person format after adapting to the challenges of the pandemic and hybrid models.

Dates & Locations:

  • February 28 in Dubrovnik
  • March 11 in Zagreb

With over 60 companies from a variety of industries, Career Education Day provides a valuable platform for students to engage directly with potential employers. During the event, students will participate in insightful panel discussions, and attend informative workshops, all designed to give them a deeper understanding of the job market and career opportunities. They will hear about the latest trends on the market and learn more about what employers want out of new hires.

As part of the academic experience, attendance is mandatory for all students as this event serves as an extension of the classroom, offering critical insights and career-building connections.

In addition to these exciting activities, we are thrilled to unveil the new visual identity for the CED project, created by our talented New Media Design student Sandra Prašnikar, under the mentorship of Dr. Jurica Dolić. This collaboration is a prime example of experiential learning, where Sandra applied her design expertise to a real-world project, gaining invaluable experience while contributing to a significant RIT Croatia initiative. Projects like this not only help students build their professional portfolios but also allow them to collaborate with faculty, strengthening the connection between classroom learning and practical application.
