Dr. Ana Havelka participates in RIT’s Global Behavioral Health: Scholarship and Service Symposium

On Thursday, May 18th, 2023 from 2:00p.m., RIT’s College of Health Sciences and Technology in collaboration with RIT Dubai will be hosting a Global Behavioral Health: Scholarship and Service Symposium

This one-day Global Behavioral Health Symposium will be held online and will be dedicated to understanding the barriers limiting the underserved homeless individuals in our society. The symposium will contain presentations by RIT's College of Health Sciences and Technology (CHST) Behavioral Health Team, Clinical Psychology Interns, Biomedical Science Undergrads, Postdoctoral Fellows, RIT Externs from St. Xavier's College Mumbai and have expert panelists from RIT Rochester, RIT Dubai, RIT Kosovo, RIT Croatia and Mohammed Bin Rashid University (MBRU).

These developing thought leaders will present on advancements in digital therapeutics, use of biomarkers in behavioral health, the use of innovative digital tools and therapies as an attempt to bring best care practices to the underserved.

RIT Croatia will be represented by our faculty Dr. Ana Havelka Meštrović who will participate in a panel titled Working with the underserved population globally: A Psychosocial Perspective.
