ESD's Family Feud continues at RIT Croatia: showdown of two teams on the topic of Excellence

October, 21, 2019

The third Family Feud quiz, organized by Eta Sigma Delta honorary society, was most certainly a fun way to finishing off with the previous working week. On Friday, October 18, over 35 students gathered at the Hilton Imperial Hotel in Dubrovnik to watch the clash of two students teams, one led by professor Besim Agušaj and the other led by professor Rebecca Charry, and this time the topic was EXCELLENCE - the 3rd pillar of Eta Sigma Delta society.

The teams took the contest seriously, especially Team Agušaj, as this was his second chance to claim victory. With professor Kevin Walker as the host, the atmosphere was everything but boring and in a matter of no time the quiz came to its end with Team Agušaj as the winners.

"This event was the first in a row of events that will be organized by Eta Sigma Delta students in the academic year 2019/2020. The Family Feud format is a fun way of learning but it's also a good indicator of the variety of ways to engage students in communication. I have to say kudos to students who organized the entire event by themselves and special thanks go to Hilton Imperial Hotel who generously sponsored the venue and refreshments to all attendees" said professor Milena Kužnin who serves as a Mentor to Eta Sigma Delta honorary society at RIT Croatia Dubrovnik campus.

Congratulations to the winning Team Agušaj: Vana Mandrapa, Emma Marunic, Holly Martin and Mark Parfait, and great job to members of Team Charry: Toni Farac, Nino Škuflić, Elena Bürgin and Jack Hyland.

See you soon for the 4th round of Family Feud, stay tuned!
