HTM students discussing recent developments in tourism with US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Dr. Marisa Lago

Four graduating seniors from RIT's Hospitality and Tourism Management program met with the US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Dr. Marisa Lago, and her staff in Dubrovnik on April 2.

Senior year students Ante Cvitković, Nina King, Nikolina Lešić and Sabina Wallace, along with faculty member Rebecca Charry Roje, discussed with Under Secretary Lago recent developments in local tourism, including sustainability, employment, the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the outlook for the future. Undersecretary Lago visited Dubrovnik to participate in the US-Croatia Forum and other events designed to promote tourism and business cooperation between Croatia and the United States.
