RIT Croatia Alumni Futures Summit 2024: A night of insight, connection, and innovation

On October 24, 2024, RIT Croatia hosted the Alumni Futures Summit 2024 at its Zagreb campus, bringing together an inspiring mix of alumni, industry leaders, and thought leaders to explore the challenges and opportunities of the future. This special event saw engaging discussions, networking, and moments of reconnection for RIT Croatia’s alumni community.

The evening featured two insightful panel discussions:

• Cybersecurity Landscape: Trends, Challenges, Regulation – Moderated by Martina Dragičević, Director of Regulatory and EU Affairs at A1, this panel explored pressing issues in digital security. Expert panelists included:
  • Andro Galinović - CISO at Infobip
  • Tonći Kaleb - VP of ISACA Croatia
  • A representative from Croatia's Center for Cybersecurity (SOA)
• Transformative Journeys: Navigating Personal, Digital, and Workplace Evolution – Led by our faculty Scott Coleman JD, this panel highlighted personal and professional growth stories from alumni and industry experts. Panelists included:
  • Iva Ančić - Head of Brand, Marketing Communication, and Digital Business at A1 Hrvatska
  • Marina Jurić - Chief People & Culture Officer at Liburnia Hotels & Villas
  • Una Pašić Gregović - Co-founder of Loties and Mati Centar

Angela Krčelić, President of the RIT Croatia Alumni Association, reflected on the success of the event, stating, “The Alumni Futures Summit provided a unique space for our community to reconnect and look forward together. It’s inspiring to see our alumni coming together to share experiences and ideas as we collectively embrace the future.”

Niko Katušić, Vice President of the Alumni Association, added, “This summit reminded us of the lifelong connections and learning that the RIT Croatia experience fosters. The energy and insights shared tonight are a testament to the strength and potential of our alumni network.”
