RIT Croatia's winning project All the Best to shine at Imagine RIT 2025

We are thrilled to announce that “All the Best”, a thought-provoking project by Shivika Chopra, has been selected as the winner of the 2025 Imagine RIT Global Competition and will proudly represent RIT Croatia at the Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival. Shivika, a second-year New Media Design student, guided by faculty advisor Dr. Jurica Dolić, has crafted a deeply personal and innovative project that explores themes of memory, grief, and connection.

All The Best – A creative exploration of memory and loss

Shivika’s project is deeply personal, inspired by the passing of her grandfather and the emotional journey of reconnecting with his memories. Her discovery of his diary revealed a new dimension of his life, prompting her to seek ways to preserve his legacy and express the unspoken words between loved ones. All The Best transforms her grandfather’s handwriting into a custom typeface and brings it to life through an interactive experience.

Utilizing 3D-printed letterpress blocks, visitors will be able to manually assemble messages and see them digitally projected, symbolizing messages they never had the chance to send. By merging traditional and digital mediums, this project creates a meaningful space for reflection and emotional expression.
