Students and faculty from University of Tennessee Chattanooga visited RIT Croatia in Dubrovnik

On Tuesday, May 8th, the Dubrovnik campus hosted twenty three students and two professors associated with the College of Business from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, who are traveling throughout the Balkans on a multi-week study abroad program. The students attended a lecture, "Funky Balkan Business", delivered by two of Dubrovnik's HSM faculty, Professors Kužnin and Walker.

The lecture emphasized the dynamic interaction of the individual and the environment in terms of impacting entrepreneurial activity in the Balkans. Specifically, in-depth discussion and analysis of Croatia's business environment was provided. Visiting students and faculty were surprised at a number of the unique factors and approaches to business, stating that they know have a better contextual understanding of what it means to conduct business in the Balkans.
