"Using Personal Strengths to Cultivate Resilience" workshop on our campuses

March 21, 2022

Becoming more resilient does not only help us cope with challenges, but it can also help us enhance skills for personal growth and development and a more fulfilling life. That is why Dr. Maja Tadić Vujčić will hold a workshop on resilience on both of our campuses this March.

Dr. Tadić Vujčić will use different interactive methods, such as self-assessment, group activities, and personal reflections, to provide important insights into the topic of personal strengths, as well as to foster curiosity, introspection, and exploration of possibilities for strengths use in different settings (e.g., work, study, relationships). In this way, the workshop aims to motivate students to actively deal with current challenges by helping them to get in touch (again) with their personal strengths. "Using Personal Strengths to Cultivate Resilience" will take place on Dubrovnik campus on Thursday, March 24, whereas in Zagreb it will take place on March 29.

Maja Tadić Vujčić is currently working full-time as a research associate at the Institute of social sciences Ivo Pilar, Zagreb, Croatia (10/2007-present), and part-time as adjunct faculty at RIT Croatia. Her research interests include well-being, positive organizational behavior, diary studies, self-determination theory, multilevel data analysis. In addition to research projects, she also leads practical workshops for students and primary school teachers on topics on well-being and participative job design strategies.
