Mechatronics Laboratory

RIT Dubai and Fractal Systems, a microelectronics company, have combined their efforts to establish the Mechatronics Center. Experts from both organizations jointly conduct development and research projects in the latest technologies with the support of RIT Dubai engineering students completing their cooperative education degree requirements.

Some of the current projects include the Haxacopter, a drone with six propellers and a GPS, and the Holoscreen, which transforms any window or glass into a touch screen via a heat detector film.
