Academic programs offered at RIT Dubai are the same as those taught at the Rochester Institute of Technology - RIT campus in Rochester, New York. Students can expect the same high-quality education and will earn the same degree as students studying at the RIT campus in Rochester, New York.

The degree you will earn from RIT Dubai is a fully recognized university degree from RIT New York and has the same value as a degree earned by studying there.

Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) is the internationally recognized accreditor of engineering programs.

The undergraduate engineering program curricula (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering) at RIT Dubai are accredited by ABET and have been designed to be equivalent to the engineering programs in Rochester, NY.

Accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB)

Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) is the premier accrediting organization for business schools. Only about one-quarter of institutions granting business degrees have received this accreditation.

Saunders College of Business undergraduate and graduate programs (RIT New York, Dubai, and Croatia) are fully accredited by the AACSB who indicated that the Saunders College of Business is ‘undoubtedly one of the nation's leaders in bringing total quality principles to the university’. These principles emphasize customer satisfaction, work productivity through teaming, and product and service excellence.

RIT Dubai is licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the regulatory authority of the Government of Dubai.

RIT Dubai is a proud partner of the National ICT Fund under the ‘Betha’ Scholarship program for Emirati students to study Bachelor and Master Programs. Emirati Nationals who meet program requirements are invited to apply for the Betha Scholarship for Bachelors in Computing Security, Computing & Information Technologies, and Electrical Engineering.
