The RIT Dubai Badminton Varsity Teams train twice a week and compete in various university sports tournaments in the UAE.
With access to state-of-the-art badminton facilities and high quality coaching, our student-athletes have the opportunity to improve and take their game to a higher level by building physical, technical and tactical abilities.

Martin Castrodes
Badminton Coach
Martin Castrodes has more than 15 years of coaching experience in the Philippines and UAE. In his playing years, he was part of the university badminton team and had also represented the Philippines in international tournaments. He is a certified Badminton World Federation (BWF) coach and has been coaching at RIT since 2023 while running one of Dubai’s oldest badminton academies.
