Student Health Insurance
To ensure the wellbeing of students, Dubai Healthcare Authority (DHA) requires all residents to have adequate health insurance coverage.
Students must either sign up for RIT Dubai health insurance or provide evidence of their own health insurance coverage by providing a copy of their valid health insurance card, which should be DHA Compliant. For more information, contact Ms. Shashini Fernandes at ssfcada@rit.edu

International Students
RIT Dubai supports international students by providing the entry permit visa to enter Dubai, but students can arrange for their own travel insurance and air-tickets to reach Dubai. Once in Dubai, and as part of student file requirements, RIT Dubai will request students to provide a proof of insurance. Students have the option to choose the RIT group medical insurance program, which is inclusive of accident insurance, or students can provide their own medical insurance.
Students visiting RIT Dubai from the RIT New York campus can apply for their insurance on the RIT Global website.
