RIT's Glass Visiting Artist Lecture Series presents professors Faidra Oikonomopoulou and Telesilla Bristogianni from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands! Their research lecture, free and open to all, is set for 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in the Glass Classroom (Booth Hall, room 3634).

The work of Oikonomopoulou and Bristogianni is focused on structural application of cast glass, with the research combining glass architecture, civil engineering, and material science.

The visit is coordinated by RIT's glass program and Evenline, the art, design, and technology studio housed in RIT's glass facilities. The studio uses 3D-printed glass to reimagine design and manufacturing processes.
