RIT Kosovo Welcomes Librarian and Researcher Laura Brumleve to Faculty
RIT Kosovo is proud to welcome Laura Brumleve as a new member of its faculty.
Brumleve is a librarian and researcher whose work examines how archival systems and information infrastructures influence access, collective memory, and institutional trust. She brings interdisciplinary expertise grounded in library science, sociology, and anthropology.
She earned her Master of Library Science from Indiana University Bloomington and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from St. Olaf College.

RIT Kosovo Welcomes Cybersecurity Leader and Alumnus Robert Shala to Faculty
RIT Kosovo is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Shala as a new member of its faculty beginning this spring semester.
A graduate of RIT Kosovo (Class of 2016), Shala returns to his alma mater after building a distinguished career in cybersecurity, national security policy, and emerging technology risk. He earned a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University, where he was awarded a merit-based scholarship in recognition of his academic excellence.

RIT Kosovo (A.U.K.) proudly highlights the professional achievements of its alumnus, Art Jashari, who currently serves as Marketing Manager at KAN SHPK, the franchise operator of KFC in Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania, and Montenegro. In addition to his managerial role, Art is a member of the company’s executive board, contributing to regional marketing strategy and long-term brand development across multiple markets.

Advancing Mental Health and Innovation in Western Balkans Higher Education Through Digital Transformation
During 8 and 9 December 2025, RIT Kosovo, hosted a hybrid Kickoff Meeting of the Erasmus+ CBHE Project WE-MIND: Advancing Mental Health and Innovation in Western Balkans Higher Education Through Digital Transformation. Representatives from the project’s partner institutions such as the Medical University of Vienna (MUW), Polytechnic of Porto (P. Porto), Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences of Central Catalonia (IRIS-CC), Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST), University of Sarajevo (UNSA), and the International Business College of Mitrovica (IBCM) came together to begin work on advancing mental health literacy, digital transformation, and human capital development in higher education across the Western Balkans.
