Kaltrina Zeka '18 – leads her family business, which is known as the first international hotel in Kosovo “Best Western Hotel Galla” with headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, which covers under its umbrella more than 4100 hotels over a 100 countries around the world. The American Education was a great help for Kaltrina in her path in obtaining the hotel license for Kosovo. The preparation from RIT Kosovo was also an impactful factor for Kaltrina to get the trust on taking on the leadership of the company at an executive level as a general manager. Best Western Hotel Galla is located just approximately 800 m from Prishtina International Airport and very close to the city center of Kosovo. It currently has a capacity of 35 fully equipped comfortable rooms of Best Western international standards. Best Western Hotel Galla is the first arrival destination and the last departure one for all of those that travel through Prishtina International Airport!
Granit Hasani ‘BSc 10 – is the CEO of Besa Security in Kosovo, biggest security company in Kosovo offering integrated security solutions to all industries. Besa Security’s mission is to offer a piece of mind to all its clients. American Education has helped Granit to work on best values for Besa Security. Therefore, over the years Besa Security has been awarded as biggest taxpayer of the year 2010, Superbrands Kosovo’s Choice 2014-2020, best employer of the year 2019. In addition, Besa Security is certified with international standards ISO 9001 on Quality Management (2011), ISO 45001 on Health and Safety (2019), ISO 27001 on Information Security (2020), and ISO 14001 on Environmental Management (2021). Granit has graduated from the American University in Kosovo (2010) in two majors Management and Economics & Statistics, and one minor in Public Policy. In addition, he has finished his master studies (MBA) at the Staffordshire University (2015) with thesis ‘’Cooperation of Universities with Businesses in Kosovo’’. Finally, Granit is awarded as 2020 Business Elite's "40 Under 40".
